Redi Services, LLC is hiring a Business Development Manager for our operations based out of Midland, TX. This position requires a consistent sales presence to clients for which Redi is not currently working. Candidate must have excellent cold-calling skills and ability to find and bring in new business. Candidate will be required to schedule meetings and sell Redi’s capabilities and services. The main focus will be bringing in new profitable business opportunities. Candidate must be a self-starter that can thrive in a high pressure oil field sales environment as demanded by Redi’s clients. Candidate must have high moral fiber and strong integrity to appropriately sell Redi Services and be honest with potential clients.
Candidate will present slideshows and marketing information to audiences consisting of engineers, maintenance planners, and procurement departments. Candidate will be selling all of Redi’s service lines including Construction, Civil, Hydro-vac, Insulation, Scaffolding, Painting/Coating, and Transportation and Septic services.
The candidate will use all steps of the selling cycle to manage sales and be tracked on performance. The candidate will be working with department managers and the operations manager in coordinating bid walks, introducing clients, and helping to manage the clients.
This job includes weekly reporting to Redi’s Sales Director and to the local Area Manager. Reports will be communicated mostly through excel spreadsheets.
Required Job Skills/Training:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; positive and proactive methods for interacting with co-workers and customers; strong leadership skills; genuine interest in people and in building professional relationships; extensive experience with Microsoft programs, specifically Excel and Word; clean driving record; prior sales experience preferred; College Business Degree - not required but preferred; Marketing Education and Experience preferred.
